These General Terms and Conditions of On-line Sale, together with the Terms and Conditions of Delivery and Payment of Goods set out on this Site form an integral part of the contract of sale concluded between the user of the Site (hereinafter the Customer) and “Save the Olives” (hereinafter STO).
1. ONLINE SHOPPING
Purchases made on the www.savetheolives.com website are governed, by these general terms and conditions of sale, by the different terms and conditions from time to time indicated on the website on the date of conclusion of the contract in accordance with Articles 50 et seq. of Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005 on the protection of consumers in respect of distancecontracts, as well as by Legislative Decree No. 70 of 9 April 2003 on e-commerce. These general conditions shall be considered an integral and substantial part of the contract. We therefore invitethe Customer, before sending the order, to carefully read the general conditions and information described herein, printing them out or saving them on another durable medium accessible to him. Sending the order by the Customer constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale in force at that time.
Items on the site may be purchased, while stocks last, by anyone over the age of 18. For the delivery of the products, the Customer may choose the place that is most convenient for him/her: athome, at the office, or at another person’s premises.
2. PRICES
The prices displayed on the www.savetheolives.com website are inclusive of VAT and refer only to products sold online. The price applied will be the one in force at the time of the order, withouttaking into account price increases or decreases, even for promotions, which may have occurredsubsequently.
Shipping costs shall be added to the price, unless the same cost is waived in the event of exceedingpredetermined purchase orders. Fiscal documentation shall be issued by the “Save the Olives” association upon delivery of the products.
3. PRODUCTS – FEATURES – AVAILABILITY
The characteristics of the products are indicated in the online catalogue and are visible when the order is placed; www.savetheolives.com displays the products as truthfully and accurately aspossible. The colours, as well as the other aesthetic characteristics of the product displayed, mayvary due to the user’s monitor, as well as for other reasons beyond STO’s control. Therefore, the seller does not guarantee that the colours, as well as other visual characteristics displayed, will be reproduced truthfully on the screen.
STO products are available in limited quantities.
4. ORDER CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION
STO reserves the right, as a result of unforeseen logistical and organisational difficulties, to cancelthe order by notifying the Customer by e-mail or, subject to prior agreement with the Customer, to change the delivery time. The delivery of the Products shall be made by courier and the delivery time shall vary depending on the destination, the time at which the order is acquired and the availability of the Product itself. The availability of each product will be indicated on the information sheet. Barring unforeseen circumstances, delivery times within the national territorywill be 2-3 working days from delivery to the Courier. For locations that are difficult to reach, suchas mountain locations, smaller islands, extreme suburbs, delivery times will be 3-5 working days.

– The shipping cost of Sgura’s works, for deliveries within the national territory, will be €12.00 (VAT included)
5. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
The commitment of www.savetheolives.com is to operate as accurately as possible. STO may, however, inadvertently incur technical or factual inaccuracies and/or typographical errors. www.savetheolives.com reserves the right to make changes and modifications to the site whenevernecessary without prior notice.
6. WITHDRAWAL
Products purchased from www.savetheolives.com are subject to the regulations, insofar asapplicable, set forth in Art. 128 et seq. Legislative Decree 206/05 on sales contracts and guaranteesconcerning consumer goods.
This guarantee shall apply to products that present conformity defects and/or malfunctions thatcould not be detected at the time of purchase, provided that the product itself is used correctly and with due diligence, i.e. in compliance with its intended use and with what is set forth in the technical documentation, if any, and in compliance with the various operating standards indicatedtherein.
In the event of a defect, the Customer is invited to contact Save the Olives (by sending an email to info@savetheolives.org) and to send the product to Save the Olives carefully packed in its originalpackaging.
7. COMPLAINTS
Complaints about defective products or malfunctions of the shipping service may be submitted by e-mail to info@savetheolives.org.
8. DISPUTES AND APPLICABLE LAW
Civil disputes concerning the application, execution and interpretation of the distance selling contract are subject to Italian jurisdiction. Contracts concluded at a distance with STO are governedby Italian law.
