Agostino Iacurci’s installation as the setting for an event in which art, design, ecology and charity came together for a common purpose: to celebrate mother earth by preserving the biodiversity that populates it, with a particular emphasis on the monumental olive trees of the Itria Valley, today in serious danger from Xylella.
Early grafting is the only way to protect and save this irreplaceable heritage.
“Mediterranean Scrub” can be purchased in a limited edition, with or without the artist’s signature, on the Save the Olives website. The entire proceeds will be used to finance research against Xylella and the protection of Apulia’s monumental olive trees.
