Grafting

We will choose a monumental olive tree that will be grafted with a variety of olive trees resistant to the bacterium of Xylella. Today grafting is the only solution to save the olive trees and is a long and expensive process.

Imprinting

You can choose a name for the olive tree that you will save, recognizable through the special label. In addition, you will receive photos and GPS location of your trees. Each olive tree is unique, recognizable, irreplaceable.

Care

We will take care and follow the grafts over time to make sure they take root. After three years your olive tree will be back lush, healthy and above all unassailable by Xylella.

It takes three years to save a monumental olive tree

1. Preparation

During autumn and winter, we will fertilize the soil, providing everything you need to prepare your olive trees for grafting.

2. Graft

Between February and April, we will proceed with the pruning of the tree and the grafting.

3. Periodic check

We will periodically check the trees to ensure the grafting has taken root and been successful.

4. Support

For the next two years we will continue to take care of the olive tree, nourishing it by fertilizing it and following the stages of regrowth of the branches.
